Silk Smitha’s brother sends legal notice to makers of ‘The Dirty Picture’

The brother of the controversial actress Silk Smitha has sent a legal notice to the makers of the upcoming flick ‘The Dirty Picture’. V Naga Vara Prasad, the brother of the late actress has said that the makers have not taken the consent of the family and that they have portrayed her in an obscene way.



Vara Prasad further reveals that he has sent a legal notice to the makers Ekta Kapoor and Milan Luthria but has not yet received any response from the producers. The brother of the actress has said that none of the makers had even tried to approach the family, who resides in Kovvali village in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Silk Smitha’s original name was Vijayalaxmi, whose brother is a semi literate agriculturist from the village. Vara Prasad had said that he had come to know through the media channels and other sources that Ekta Kapoor has portrayed Silk in an obscene way.

The brother of the actress had also said that the movie is based on the facts told by an alleged boyfriend of Silk who lives in Chennai. Vara Prasad has warned that if the director does not delete the objectionable content then they would take necessary action to prevent it.
